School Based Health Center
The School Based Heath Center provided by Optimus Health Care is located in the Barnum nurse’s office. We are here to help students stay as healthy as possible during the school year.
Goal: Minimize absenteeism by providing clinical and behavioral support as needed during school
The clinic is not a replacement for your primary care provider; we are here to help during the school year as we understand it’s difficult to make appointments during the school day, potentially needing to miss work. We encourage all parents to register their students for the health clinic even if you feel that they won’t need it, it’s always good to have a consent in place for that one day they may not feel well. *Student’s clinic consents are good for 2 years
Services Offered:
- Physicals and Immunizations
- Acute sick visits
- Pain medicine; Tylenol or Motrin
- Asthma, Allergy care
- Strep and Flu testing
- Prescription refill or renewal

Victoria is our Licensed Master Social Worker. She is here to help support students behaviorally and emotionally should you or your child feel they need support during the school year. There are many other services available, so please feel free to give her office a call.
